Nancy Yuan, a passionate educator, and musician dedicated to fostering a love for learning and music in young children. Nancy hold a Bachelor of Music (2004) and a Graduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning (2007) from the University of Canterbury, as well as a Montessori Diploma from Appafield (2021) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Music from the University of Auckland (2023).
Her teaching journey began in 2007 as a preschool teacher, where she developed a strong foundation in Early Childhood Education (ECE). Over 16 years in the ECE sector, she integrated music into her teaching, recognizing its power to inspire creativity and development. Nancy also provided private music tuition to young learners, tailoring lessons to their individual needs and interests.
In August 2023, Nancy joined Dorayme Music Tuition Studio, where she has embraced the opportunity to work with diverse learners. This role has deepened her appreciation for varied approaches to music education and has allowed her to inspire students with different interests and goals. Nancy’s teaching philosophy is rooted in creating nurturing environments that foster curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong passion for learning. Whether in the classroom or during music lessons, she strive to connect with each learner's unique journey, cultivating both their musical and personal growth.
